Archimedes has enjoyed learning about integers.

Room 9 members have been using deci-pipes to learn more about decimals.  We have been busy also writing a script for the green screen awards. We expect this to be finished early next term.  Happy holidays from the amazing room 9 team.

This week we presented our year 5 and 6 movie trailers about Camp Columba and Outdoor Ed to our parents on Thursday night. We all felt proud to share our memories and work with our families.

 Last Monday Mrs Webster introduced us to our class Dojo.  We are looking forward to getting our students codes so we can customise our avatars. One more week until the school holidays!

Week 9 Catch Up

We hope you all enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable Easter break?  It was perfect timing for recovering from our busy camp week!

This term has just flown by and already we are into Week 9.  We have been busy writing about our camp adventures and creating artistic masterpieces to display on our camp sharing night.  Please mark in your calendars that our senior school Outdoor Education presentation is on Thursday April 11. Rooms 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 13 will be open from 5.00 to 5.45pm in order to share with you writing, photos and art work related to their experiences.  All students are required to be at school in order to share and discuss their work.

Over the next two weeks we will be further investigating the issue about parts of our local estuary dying, in preparation for creating a movie to enter into the Environment South Green Screen Awards.  If you are an expert in this area, or would like to slap on some gumboots and accompany us to the estuary in the last week of term to do some hands on investigating, we would love to hear from you!

We have had some sharing of home learning through our Pride Challenges, but it would be great to see more children completing tasks and bringing in evidence to share.
